Auction ended for me but others still outbid me.

Hi,

Auction ended for me but others still outbid me. I had bid on the item. No other bids. It said ended and only my two bids. The first bid and my maximum bid were the only two bids. Other people were able to outbid me and I lost. I had bid on the same sellers other item 5 minutes before and won that auction. CAn anyone explain why this has happened. Ebay basically just fobbed me off when I contacted them, said it was a RARE GLITCH and the two agents I spoke to just ended the chat for no reason. I took a screenshot but cant seem to upload it.

It wasn't a glitch it was a bid sniper bidding their highest which was more than you bid ,at the very last seconds of the auction. I do that myself.

Ebay said themselves it was a "rare" glitch. I have the chat transcript.

When you are looking at bid history, you need to click on the hidden bids.

It was not a glitch  eBay CS reps use that as a reason to get you off the phone.

There are a lot of issues with the countdown clock not giving correct time.   You need to use a snipe service to place late bids.  Never had an issue that way.

If you click the link you will see the screenshot saying the auction was ended and the only 2 bids are mine. One is my first bid and the second is my auto bid. No other bids. I am the highest bidder it says in the top left in green.

Everyone making these sniper bid comments wont click the link to look at the screenshot. I know what it means. Click the link. There is nothing dodgy about it. It is a free image hosting site. Look at it and tell me how is it possible.

Multiple servers for eBay. Sometimes delays in displaying can show incorrectly.
