Unusual version of the Great Books of the Western World

We've received an unusual version of the full 54-volume set of the Great Books of the Western World, with an emblem/logo on the side we don't recognize (usually it's a shield, not this shape).  I can't find any info on Google, Wikipedia, etc, to help me value it, so I'm hoping this community can help!  Image posted below of logo. Copyright date inside shows 1952 with no printing information displayed (often they say "Twenty-seventh Printing", etc).IMG_3385.jpg

Can't help with the value, but the spine decoration is Britannica's thistle logo. (The thistle representing Scotland,  where the encyclopedia was first published in Edinburgh.)

Thanks, that's super helpful!  I'm sure we'll figure out a value (or decide to try an auction) with that detail!
