Hello everyone, Happy Tuesday!...Have you ever met someone and thought, Boy, they should write a book about his/her life? Well, this is that book: "Breaking Through: My Life in Science by Katalin Karikó". This is her autobiography. She was born in Hungary in the 50's, became a biochemist, and last year received a Nobel Prize in science, among other awards. She is just a regular person who through persistence and perseverance did something great for humanity. And she's a really good storyteller. Can't tell you how much I enjoyed her story.

Mattel is releasing a new Monster High doll April 25 at 9am PT...The Creature from the Black Laguna. I would kill to have her, but I've been spending money like a Rockerfeller lately so I'm going to pass on her even though it really hurts.
I went to a doll show a few weeks ago and had a great time hanging out with dolly people and seeing some good stuff!
Dolls can and will sit on most anything from candle tins, swinging bridges, to books, to small pillows, to toy tractors.

Shirley...If you decide to read that book, I think you will enjoy it...Thanks! I did have a lot of fun at the doll show...Wait, let me get this straight. You saw an A frame Barbie house at a yard sale and left it there?! Yowsers! I don't know that I could have done that. I would have probably bought it even though I wouldn't have had enough room for it either! You are certifiably a strong person!...Well, guess what? I bought the MH Black Lagoon doll, couldn't help myself and I just got an email from Mattel letting me know that it's on its way so should be here soon...no will power at all!...Oh, and I also bought the Kristi Yamaguchi doll too. She was just released and can be found everywhere: Target, Mattel Creations, Walmart, Amazon. She's on a petite MTM body and just adorable!...Glad you enjoyed the photos 🙂 ...Good to see that you were able to post photos. Haha, all those dolls seated in different ways! Love the different scales too. Couldn't pick a favorite, liked them all 🙂

This 16" Little Prince is one of my favorite dolls. I remember seeing it in a doll store in 2001 and just standing there, feeling sorry for myself because it cost $1200 and I wanted it. It's made of felt. R. John Wright has made so many wonderful dolls through the years.
16" Stella by Connie Lowe. She's a BJD, and has quite a following, starts at $2200.
This is one of the new Barbie mermaids that has been put on a MTM body. She has the Odile face mold that everyone has gone crazy over.

Walmart has the Mini Barbieland sets. I love the mini dolls. Bought multiples of the Color Reveal set because I wanted the set of six. You actually have to dip them in water to reveal which one you got, and I like that you can put them back in the container for storage. I also bought one of the houses which I will post later.
