do i have to open a case for a return

hi seller agreed to a return without opening a case...how do I proceed so that I am covered and get a refund.  Seller was nice, I didn't want to upset by opening a case.  I just need to know where to put tracking number...or do I have to open a case?

You don't have to enter a tracking number unless you open a case. And as long as the seller refunds when the item is returned, you won't have to do that. It's only if the seller gets the item and doesn't refund that you would need to open a case and enter the tracking.
