I got all stoked about selling/shipping larger items. (I got a load of them...) I worked up a pallet of mixed goods of ~300lbs. I got it all put together ...after I told the customer to buy it — then it was like 'good lucky buddy'?! There was nothing to select? ...unlike the multiple choices sending 30lbs.
I called one shipper near to me ESTES motor freight and they said the list price was $2k for the 800mi run to Florida, but they would give me a 'courtesy' discount and make it $700.
Perhaps I am missing something, right in front of my nose? Any experience with this? I could use some direction. Thanks.
