Viewing item description opens new Window

Lately, when I have opened an item description from same subject matter listings each separate opening goes into my “Recently Viewed” category, but it also creates a new “Window” for each separate viewing.  Too many open “Windows” from different sellers slows down my iPad and I have to delete the all these Windows.  Any ideas?

Thanks for the link.  I made the change to “Single Tab” in the Customize box next to the “Best Match, etc.” drop down box.  I never knew that “new tab” vs. “single tab” was an option or why my eBay reverted to it or why it’s even necessary?  You’ve got “Recently Viewed.”  Thanks again.

A while ago eBay changed the coding on the search results page, resulting in links opening in new tabs there by default.

Just recently, the change in the "Customize" menu now allows users to return to the old way of opening links in the same browser tab. That option did not exist previously.
