I purchased an itemand the seller kept delaying talking about a strange job they work. Eventually they provided tracking but no matter where I entered the number, in person at a facility or online it always said they were awaiting the package. I asked and got another excuse that the weight was wrong, they then provided an expedited shipping label through a different company. That is also completely nonsense.
Now that I realize I had been got (scam) I've requested a refund but going to the sellers page is appears as though they have deleted their account.
Am I just going to be out of luck for a refund after the 4 day waiting period? Or will it still be forced even though the account is gone?
Sorry for the long winded post, rather stressed about this.
Thanks.

Go to your Purchase History and click on Order Details next to the item title to see if the latest estimated date of delivery has already passed.
IF/WHEN the latest estimated date of delivery has already passed by at least 1 day, you have up to 30 days past estimated date of delivery to file a Refund Request:
Go to your My Ebay page >> Purchase history
If the seller does not respond after 3 days, you can ask Ebay to step in to help you.
