I am looking to buy a tool set, its priced well below what they currently sell for... Seems fishy but If I do purchase the item does ebay offer me any protection in ways of getting refunded? The seller doesnt accept returns.
Above is the listing, if that helps. He has sold several sets but no seller feedback yet... Below is another very similiar listing with same exact price which is what alerted me in the first place.
These sets are out of stock but sell for $300 at lowes.com... Im assuming this a deal too good to be true.
It's a SCAM
The second listing you posted, the seller sold 30 of those sets between Oct 4 - 11, but hasn't received feedback for any of the transactions yet. Some of them sold by Best Offer for a lot less than the asking price.
They look like drop-shipping listings, but most drop-shippers list hundreds of items. Neither of the sellers of those identical listings has listed or sold anything else, ever.
I found several other identical listings, from sellers with no selling experience. They had all sold multiples of them, and here is some of the feedback they had received for them (I didn't find any sales of these kits that got positive feedback):
My advice - run away, run away.
eBay will give your money back eventually, but in the meantime it will be tied up for weeks, and your name, address, email address and phone number will be harvested and added to lists that are sold to phishing scammers and used for identity theft.
