When a buyer contacts you about a damaged item they purchased and you want to refund their auction purchase, does Ebay give back the fees they charged associated with that item? Does that automatically occur with the refund.

If you want the item back, do not refund until it is returned.
Ebay credits your fees only if a full refund is made through ebay.
