Receiving the refund for not-received item

Hello, I need help. Have won the auction,and paid the item which I never received. Then have contacted a seller, and they "refunded" the item, how Ebay says, but I don't see anywhere that money. There is no such transaction on my Paypal...please tell me what to do. Thanks a lot! 

Thank you again for trying to help, but I've checked all my accounts,and I don't have any refunds...again,what to do?

Hi.  How did you make the payment with pay pal?   If you used a credit card or transfer from your bank account the refund is supposed to go straight thru pay pal back to your original funding source.  I think it will only show the refund in pay pal if you had funds already avalible in your pay pal account to make the payment.  Look at your funding source account.
