I sold an item today. It said buyer paid by personal check and won’t be in my account until May 2. Do I still ship the item? I also have notification saying payout on hold. I paid fees already for eBay and printed out the shipping label.

Ooof.

That is an expensive item.  And its probably going to be sent to eBay authentication first, then to the buyer.

If you have payment on hold, that will remain on hold for a while till eBay knows this is authentic and sent to the buyer.  But that means you can ship.

Not sure about you getting a check?  Usually that's not an option.  Unless its the verification check for the authenticity thing.

Anyway, you need to send it to the address for the order, and if the payment has been received, you should have the option to purchase the shipping label already.  If they haven't paid, you wouldn't have the option.
