I have a buyer that contacted me about an order that didn't arrive. After checking the tracking information I see it made it to his town and was out for delivery but was never scanned as delivered. The item was ordered back in May and is a little under $200. My thing is if I ordered something with that price tag I would be looking for it a lot sooner than 2 months later. I started a trace on the package and the USPS answer was item not found sorry for the problem. Now what do I do with the customer?

Try calling the buyer's local post office that was responsible to deliver the package
It's possible the buyer did receive it and the carrier just did not scan as 'delivered'
If it was insured, you can make a claim based on an undelivered package
The buyer can't open an item not rec'd case on eBay since it is past the 30 day limit
