Is this a scam

I found a car on market place on Facebook and asked seller for information about the vehicle. She asked for my name and address. Then she said she sent the information to ebay and said they would contact me to complete the transaction. She said the car was for sale on eBay but I never found it! Don't seem legit to me!

This is a longtime very common scam. Ebay would not contact you or get involved in an eBay Motors transaction. EBay does not store vehicles.  If you do not see the vehicle listed on eBay Motors, it is a scam and eBay will not be able to protect you. It is best to stop communicating with the scammers.

Most definitely a SCAM.  If it wasn't listed on eBay, it is not legit.  They will ask you to pay with gift cards, which are untraceable and you will be out the money.  Have no further communication with them.
