I sold an item and the shipping cost is too high. Can I change the shipping rate?

I sold an item and the shipping cost is too high. The customer hasn't paid yet because of this, which I understand. Is there a way to change the shipping rate once an item has sold on Auction?

If you need to lower the shipping rate you can do that.

My ebay > SOLD > More actions > SEND INVOICE

Change the shipping cost.  You can click on PREVIEW to double check.  Do not click on RECALCULATE.
