Handling request for refund from buyer

How do you usually handle a request for a refund from a buyer if you feel you’ve represented your item honestly and correctly, stating that it’s sold as is, missing some parts, and to ask any questions before purchasing. Does anyone offer partial refunds just to settle the claim? Has anyone let eBay decide the claim?

Handling request for refund from buyer

Never involved ebay if you can help it.  Your option is to accept the return and get the item back before refunding, refund without a return, or offer a partial refund.  If it is returned, then you can report the buyer if he abused the money back guarantee.
