need info on this lamp

The shade is not original but I'm wondering if this lamp was put together with different parts. 

I'm not even sure the pot was original to the lamp but it came with it.

Inscription on pot is Bassett No. 1025  New York

I found a closed auction for the vase. You have to be a subscriber to see the realized price, but the auction estimate was $50. So it started out as a not incredibly valuable vase. And in most case the value of ceramic and glass items is greatly diminished if they're drilled to turn them into a lamp. So the lamp may be charming, but it's not going to be particularly valuable.
