Ceramic figurine container British(?) carriage mystery

I have been googling for the last six hours

and have had no luck figuring out what this is.  It ceramic, with one sloppy gold trim, and the interior is also glazed.  It has what looks like a  simple screw top like it might have been a

container.  Any ideas?

It's a mystery. It looks like it has a cap screw. Cap screws were introduced in the 1890s. This to  me looks styled after a 1700s British coach. The woman is scarcely the demure aristocrate -- she looks like she's bursting out -- and the carriage or coach -- I'd call it a coach -- driver has a distinctly Washingtonian 1700s profile. So what the heck is it. A booze container, maybe?

Looks vintage, if its ceramic i don't see why it would hold liquid, i just think canteen until i think about the material.
