Might a 1960's poster collector of the San Francisco hippie scene be able to identify the poster that I dug out of storage? It measures 11X14 inches and from the writing on it appears to be for a "human be-in" on May "14". The location is "10th & ???"). Any suggestions so that I might research and determine a value for it?
Thank you

Why do you think your poster has anything to do with San Francisco?

The "Human Be-in" was a concert held on Jan 14 1967 on the Polo Grounds in SF. 20,000 to 30,000 hippies attended to see such notable people as Dick Gregory and The Grateful Dead. Change of date maybe?

Try this link. It's probably related.

The previous link I posted listed their poster as 1966 concert in San Jose CA actually on Mother's day. There is also a intersection of 10th and Alma in San Jose CA. Maybe you have a poster for a precursor to the big festival held in San Francisco Jan 1967. Certainly worth more research. Good luck!

So if 10th and Alma is San Jose State College, that is where I would start my research is in their archives.
