Antique Rocking Chair Carved Back Egyption? Cleopatra? Symbolism? Not your Usual...

The following chair was from my wife's parents home. The arms have lion heads, but the back is what has me mystified. It seems to have an Egyption flavor. My wife is worried it might be "occultish" in origin. Any replies would really be appreciated. Thanks in advance....    ....Steve

Well, in general the chair's design is art nouveau.   And the figure appears to be based on a caryatid.   I don't see Egyptian Revival but certainly classically inspired.
