It might mean plumb gold. 14KP - not necessarily a makers mark.  That would mean it’s more than 14K (or more) but less than 18K (or they would have marked it as such).

it actually means it's guaranteed to be at least 14k... a lot of gold is under what it's marked...

It has the rich color of  14K or I would have suggested "plated" but it is not that. Perhaps it is identifying two distinct features that the metal is 14K and that that they are genuine pearls as they appear to be. Never heard of P representing "at least that" but who knows.

I’ve heard of 14kp for plumb. You would have to take it to a reputable jeweler to make sure.

“14KP” — assuming that the characters are run together in that way — would designate 14K PLUMB (“exact”) gold.  I’ve had at least 30 such pieces over the years...
