I sold an item out of the US and the buyer asked to return it. I accept returns so the buyer started the process.
Then I got this message from ebay:
We're contacting you about a return request your buyer opened. This order was sent through eBay International Shipping, so we handled the return on your behalf. |
You don't need to take any action and you won't be charged for this refund. |
Why won't I be charged for the refund? Is it refund for shipping? for the item?
If anyone can clear up my confusion, thank you.

eBay International Shipping program handles returns and seller is out of the equation. Once your package is accepted and processed at the US hub, your job is complete.
eBay handles the return local to the buyer, liquidates the item, and refunds the buyer from their pocket.
You keep the sale. Nothing to do or worry about @sandy101rock .
