Potential buyer says ebay won't accept his zip code for mailing

I have a Postcard for sale and a potential buyer contacted me from Nevada, 89406 zip. 

The item is 2 ounces and would be shipped as a USPS

letter . I get a estimated charge of 1.20 calculated shipping to that zip. The potential buyer says ebay won't accept his zip code. Does anyone know if there is a system glich going on.

(I DO NOT want to use the Ebay envelope option as i have had too many issues with that)

Tell the buyer to look up his address on this USPS app, and to use the recommended version of his address as shown there.

The buyer is probably trying to use an incorrect or non-standard form of the address, and it isn't passing the validation checks.
