Greetings,
I recently sold a photography lens on Ebay.
I opted for the additional insurance to cover the sales price of the lens.
The buyer insists that the lens had to have been damaged during shipping.
Where would I find that I opted, and paid, for the extra insurance?
Thanks in advance

If you purchased the label through eBay, or any other provider like Pirate Ship for that matter, it should show in the detailed cost of the shipping label when you purchased it. I purchase my labels through Pirate Ship but it should be the same for eBay labels.

Insurance isn't for 'damaged' (VERY seldom, but if and ONLY if the package actually showed damage)..otherwise it's mostly for 'lost' (USPS doesn't pay for most ALL 'It was damaged in shipping'- they will just blame the packer/shipper for Poor Shipping Practices.

If you purchased extra insurance through EBAY (you can file a claim to ShipCover insurance...see weblink below). Follow steps below. For evidence get customer to send you an email detailing the damage to the lens and also include EBAY invoice showing amount due.
I have filed several claims with ShipCover insurance and they paid for damages with no questions asked.
