Why can I post but not respond to replies of a former post?

If it has a green padlock over on the right upper corner, the post is locked to further replies. 

or: Could be category/board that you are not a member of or ask a mentor if you did not start it.

The one you posted yesterday was on the Mentor board. I can't reply there as I'm not a Mentor. I hope that helps a bit...

All seems to be going, very strange. My problem. First the message. This member is now blocked. They can no longer send you messages or buy your items. Okay, a nonsense has been created & implemented. The reasons are a nonsense too. 1/ Blocked for not receiving a purchase & asking for a refund. Weird.

2/ Blocked for getting a purchase which was of extremely low, standard & receiving a refund. Weird.

Been with EBay from day one, UK. Over 20 year. This block system is the strangest of them all. Wrote to EBay before, about tweaking the system too much. If it's not broken, leave it alone.
