Hello , can someone help me?
I was going to start selling some things because I shop too much and need to get rid of new stuff.
So, I started off with one book at first. It didn't sell and that's okay. I look and I have an email saying I owe Ebay a dollar. I thought if I sold something of course I would pay them, but I sold nothing. I didn't sign up for a subscription or a fancy store of my own, yet. I just wanted to see how Ebay operated first. There was never any mention of any fees out right that I would owe if I had sold nothing.
Has anyone delt with a similar situation. I know it's just a dollar, but it leaves a bad taste. Also, when I try to reach out to Ebay somehow and the website puts you in a circle. I was planning on buying and selling and being apart of Ebay, but I can just go to a more transparent site.

There are listing fees for certain types of listings such as 3 day auctions.

DId you opt into promoting your listing?

You listed the same book three times. What happened?

There is a $1 fee for 3 day auctions and you have to pay it even if the item doesn't sell.

The first time you listed it as a 3 day option which has a $1 fee. The other two listings were for 7 days so there was no fee.

LISTING FEES are shown to you right above the the list item icon that you must click to get your item listed.
Pretty transparent to me.

No need to be ignorant queen jerk. It wasn't apparent to me. I actually am half blind. Thank you for being a human.

Thank you I really appreciate the feedback!

No, I see now what I did wrong. Thank you for taking the time!

Sorry for calling you a jerk. I really didn't see this fee. I do see now that there is an auction fee, but it was in the finance selling section not on the front page. Ebay is difficult to read for me, not because I'm stupid. I read back your comment it's actually funny. I just don't see why people choose to put other people down.
