I sold 10 items last night around 10pm, I was not able to pack and ship them out the next day. Will my selling status be penalized?

Will be unavailable to ship any purchased items until a certain date. How can we let buyers know this from our listings? Is there a place we can inform bidders that we will not be shipping during certain dates? thank you
