Then it's dishonest on the part of the seller. I always have the item in the hands of the carrier before I note the tracking number. I have the package ready to go whenever the sale is made.

I don't mean to blame the seller, though it benefits a seller, but as I said most sellers are fastidious about shipping. Notifications should be sent to buyers when the item is in the hands of the carrier and the seller marks it shipped.
