eBay insists on inserting inaccurate information into book listings,
contradicting the accurate information provided by the seller. This
confuses the buyer and makes the seller look like an incompetent idiot.
Can anything be done about this?
On April 3, 2022 I received a message from ebay saying that ebay would
file and send me a form 1099-K because my sales for 2022 exceeded $600.
I haven't received a form in the mail, and my "reports and taxes" page
on ebay says "you don't have any 109...
Once again eBay has arbitrarily and unnecessarily changed its
categories, instantly making all of my stored listings obsolete and in
need of revision before listing. Why can't bureaucracies ever learn to
leave well enough alone?
Last week I listed a role playing book on eBay in the category Toys &
Hobbies>Games>Role Playing Games>Horror. The item sold, and when I
attempted to ship by media mail through eBay's shippingsystem, I was

2 of the 5 slips included the "ship to" address. I checked with Ebay
about this and was informed that the reason the "ship to" address was

Thanks! I guess the best answer is just to forget about listing the
ISBN. I don't think many people search by this anyway. it's too bad we
have to work around eBay's stupidity.
Yes, I suspect that eBay would let me ship by media mail if "books" was
the primary category. Interesting that on the one hand eBay acknowledges
that an item can legitimately be listed in more than one category, but
on the other hand refuses to allow...
