help identifying doll

I just purchased this doll at a sale.  I am not familiar with dolls and could not find anything about the mark that is on her back.  The doll is about 23 inches and has a leather body.  It appears to be in very good condition but I am not sure what to look for.  If anyone can give me any help about the maker or if it is an old doll and not repro I would really appreciate it. The mark looks like either an H or a fancy J C and appears to have a 2 / 0 in the middle of the mark.
