Question about vintage 40's Corde clutch, no label

Hello.  I am visiting from the Jewelry and Gemstones group.  I have a great 1940's clutch which has all the earmarks of Corde but no label. Scalloped edges, cording, zipped inner ( with zipper seen on other Corde purses), open on each side of zipper.  Is it attributable to Corde, or were knockoffs common?  Also, should I price it lower because it does not have a label or stamp? thanks in advance for any info.
