Why are people listing Power Ranger items as "Legacy" when they are originals

I have come to notice that many Power Ranger auctions listed are using the word "Legacy" in thier titles? Now as far as anything titled Legacy are the recent new releases of the Original MMPR Dinozord, the Green Dragonzord and the White Tigerzord along with the Thunderzords and the Ninjazord along with the Falconzord and some misc accessories like the MMPR morphers and so on.

Now anything MMPR made before 2015 should not have the word Legacy in the title as it misinforms a buyer to thing that they are buying a Legacy release which the line was made just in the last few years and are of higher quality that the original releases. Legacy versions are mostly die cast and are much better quality for the adult collector.

So knowing what a Legacy release is and then to go see someone put the word Legacy in the title for example "MMPR 1995 Legacy Turbo Megazord" is misleading and is false as they have not released a Legacy Turbo Megazord as of yet also they never did back in 1995.

Maybe you should try contacting the seller and explain it to them.

In film and collectible terms, "legacy" would mean anything related to the original Saban series.

In Power Ranger terms, "Legacy" (with a big L) means anything related to the "Legacy" series from 2013.

It's a poorly-chosen name that will cause confusion, especially for someone who stopped collecting toys in the 90s or who never watched the remakes. I'm not sure how easy it will be to train sellers out of that behavior.
