Help with identifying a large vintage Hermann Bear 26" # on foot metal tag 0222

I have acquired a beautiful vintage Hermann bear complete with his Hermann Made in Germany tag and a metal tag on the bottom of his foot numbered 0222.  I did a search on line and came up with nothing.  He is in excellent condition, measures approximately 26" tall and is jointed with felt pads on the bottom of his paws.  Can anyone give me help or tell me where I can go to identify him - age, name, value etc?  Thanks so much

Made in 2003 for the Smithsonian to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the 1903 bear they have on display. Yours would be number 222 in an edition of 1500.
