According to some reports on the internet, some of them have lead & mercury in them. The ones made in the US may or may not contain dangerous toxins in them. Those made in China or elsewhere have a higher probability of dangerous toxins present. They warn never children to not play with "loose" spinners as the parts can come loose and present a choking hazard. Hope this helps.
