Is this a tl or ebay problem?

I cant upload any dvd listings thru tl.  It keeps saying that there are no photos associated with the item.  I use ebay's media database.  I got the message that it was not available when trying to redo a listing.  Is anyone else having this problem?

Yes same here. Stock photos being used, error returned there's no photo. UPC codes provided and still returns a UPC error on other listings. None of them can go up. What a joke.[

thank you so much for answering. at least i know its ebay problem and not tl. tl can be tempermental at times

I did get the ones returning a UPC error to upload, but not the ones that have a "to list in this category, minimum number of photos" error. And all of them have a stock photo!

I got a few to load that didn't use stock photos.

I called ebay about this today. It is a known issue and they have received quite a few calls on it. The cs rep said it is affecting video and books. The more people that call and complain, maybe the faster they will look at the issue. So call cs and complain about it.

I'm pretty sure you now have to use a self generated photo on USED books...........don't know if that is true of other media now or not.......

All of my items are used. Customer service didn't tell me that when I called. Actually they told me to find pix on the web and dl them, which I have no plans of doing. If I have to scan everything, I am going to remove the ebay data base info. It's got oversized print, videos, and not accurate reviews. I clicked on one of my listings and there was three click on videos for that movie. How did you decide that used items couldn't use the stock photos?

I am wondering if this was deliberately done to 'thin out' the smaller sellers and force them to use the crummy listing tool. I am resigned to the fact that I will have to scan before listing or relisting. 2000 entries, I am thrilled beyond belief..... I am removing the ebay media db from each listing as I work on it. Half of it is wrong. And it looks tacky on my page. I was just able to dl the program update in tl but no data updates (they wouldn't install). I don't know what they did to it, I can't see anything different.

If you saw a PRogram Update AND a Data Update you should not have tried to install both of them together. You should have unchecked the Data Update, installed the Program Update and then tried the Data Update. This is what I was told to do in an email 3 weeks ago when I could not get the Data Update to install (there was no Program Update available).
