New Seller...

I am a new seller on eBay. I listed about 20 items last night & received 10 messages saying item sold. A few people asked me to send message back to a phone number. Does any of this sound normal?

Anyone asking you to tet thm is trying to Scam you.

100% normal.......... for a scam.

This happens to new sellers all the time. 

Don't deal with people who want to use bitcoin, or gift cards, etc.  If a buyer purchases any item on eBay, eBay sends out an invoice for the transaction.  That's all they need to be able to pay for the items(s). 

Anybody that is asking you to send a message back to a phone number is setting you up for a scam.

Search the community posting for scams and read some of the ways they will work it.  Or google "scams on ebay."  Educate yourself on this before going any further.  Don't lose your products or your money.
