Good grief.
You are not the first person to post this topic--you're more like the 10,000th person. All that you're saying has been said 10,000 times. 10,000 previous posters have acknowledged that it's almost impossible to sell here. 10,000 people agree that failure of delivery is a big issue--myself included.
To compare Amazon to eBay in the context of delivery is just silly. Amazon has warehouses full of merchandise and thousands of employees in its shipping department working around the clock. It has its own cargo fleet of aircraft and its own delivery system on the ground.
eBay has some schmuck like me, sitting in my basement packaging up items with bubble wrap and duct tape, and waiting for the mail carrier to arrive.
As they say, it's like comparing apples and oranges.
