Why am I being charged postage fees long after I already paid for the postage on that item to be shi

When I sell an item I pay for the postage with available funds which I noticed is immediately deducted but around a week later I'll notice an additional shipping fees for the same item can someone please explain this to me thank you very much in advance

If this was for USPS, you should have gotten a notice that something didn't match between the label you used and the box/envelope type you shipped with when scanned by USPS.  This can either be a credit or a debit, as a correction to the original amount your paid.   If you feel this was incorrect, you can appeal.
