What’s happens to a shipment rejected at hub

Hi all,

I recently sold and shipped a package internationally but once it got to the hub it was rejected and eBay refunded the customer which is all good and I *think* I got to keep the sale.

I was just wondering what happened to the package, does it get mailed back to me or can I get it back?

just wondering if I could. I’d be glad to refund anything as long as it came back to me in the shape I sent it out

You have the payment for the item so it no longer belongs to you. When the item is delivered to the hub the item becomes the property of eBay.
So to answer your question, no the  item won't be returned to you.

You should look at eIS as eBay is your customer and they are selling it to your international customer.

The item is eBays property now.

You get to keep the payment for it. The buyer gets a full refund and the item is disposed of. Leaving no hope of finding another way to ship it to them or any other buyer.

Shipments like that are usually sold to a liquidator who then offers it for sale within the US.
