I sold an item to a buyer. Buyer received item and asked to return saying : I order the wrong one.i need return. I don't accept returns but being a nice guy I approved his return (big mistake). Buyer ships back a different item than what I sent. I message him and contact eBay about the problem. Customer service rep says they will look into the matter and eBay will not issue a refund to buyer. Buyer sends message: Omg I’m so sorry my girlfriend help me to Return to the Wrong seller. Can you send it back to me please I’m so sorry. I message the buyer to close the case, and I will send the item that he sent back. Buyer closes case. eBay issues him a full refund. I appeal the refund decision sending the messages that the buyer and I sent. I lose. Ebay says buyer returned item and issues him a refund. Buyer gets to keep item and I am out the money and item. Appealing eBay's decision on a case is a waste of time. No more being a nice guy. I will no longer accept returns because a buyer made a mistake and ordered the wrong item. Rant over.

Before you put up the item for sale, the buyer had the money.
Right now, the buyer still has that money.
You are not out that money.

Of course I am out the money. eBay refunded the buyer from my paypal account.

Do you still have the item the buyer sent you? Sell it on ebay.
