ebay not fair to sellers….

Sold a phone, buyer received, two days later buyers opens a case saying “item defective, not truth, so I followed ebay’s advice, provided a shipping label, buyer sent it back with a totally different name to a different name that mine, the only thing buyer used was the tracking number that I provided, city and zip code, so obviously it was returned to him for “insufficient “ address, I have try everything without any luck to get the phone back, I reported all the evidence to ebay and still they won’t reopen my case, I think that was my last item I sell on ebay…..so I lost $700 dollars to a scammer and ebay won’t do a thing about it, I have reported to the USPS and next a police report, it’s discouraging

@hurtado.303

I don't know exactly what your police report might entail, but if you indeed file the report, try to appeal the eBay decision with the police report.

See if there is an appeal option available in a communication eBay sent you.

Or

Use Social Media.

Message button in upper right on landing page. Send a direct message.

You could also call your service provider and report the phone stolen. They might render the phone inoperable.

I am not versed in appeals. Anyone else have anything to add?

Sorry to read this happened to you. Ebay does not care a bit about its sellers.
