eBay valet for collectible currency?

I have a sizable collection of collectible currency but have been very slow about getting it online, but could really use the funds. What experiences have people had with valet (or whatever its called now)? Can something that is a collectible like an old peice of currency be sold through valet?

More importantly, SHOULD I do it?

NO, Don't do it through a valet.

You can sell it here in a lot, coin shop, pawn shop etc.

I've only had one coin shop express interest but haven't followed through. I feel like I'd take a giant loss doing it as a lot, compared to 30% through valet, but... I really don't trust an eBay "service" like that.

They will probably start it at . 99 cents ending in 1 bid, or put it up as BIN for 2.99.

I'm exaggerating. The stories haven't been good. Not sure if they accept currency. Haven't checked into it much.
There is a currency board somewhere in the community. I think it's under Category?
