Did you mean:

Sneaker authentication eligibility - not finding it as clearly stated as for trading cards.

eBay states the price eligibility for sneaker authentication as :

"Sneakers priced starting at $75 " eBay Authenticity Guarantee | eBay

[emphasis added]

Maybe the policy hinges on the word "starting", but this is just not as crystal clear, to me anyway, as the eligibility for trading cards, which is stated as:

"Cards must have a Buy It Now price of $250 or more, or sell in an auction for $250 or more
If the Buy It Now price is $250 or more but you sell for a best offer or auction price of less than $250, the cards will still be eligible for authentication."

Even though it is not explicitly stated as such, does eBay administer the price eligibility threshold of shoes in the same way as for trading cards?   Is it stated somewhere? If not, how is it handled?

For auctions sold by bidding, seller accepting a buyer's offer, or buyer using a posted buy it now (i.e. seller's).

For fixed price listing sold by seller accepting a buyer's offer?

Thank you.
