I get you @4post4me

:smileyhappy:

I don't think you were trying to slam buyers.

If the mailbox itself isn't cleared, then all of us need a reminder to

make sure the shipping providers can actually deliver what we've ordered.

Re: Shovel Out Those Mailboxes

I'm not sure how assuming and expecting the worst makes a situation any better. The post office will redeliver. The buyer can phone them. There are plenty of good potential outcomes from this situation.

Re: Shovel Out Those Mailboxes

Also don't assume that it's literally the "receptacle" that's blocked.  I've seen that scan message when it was my street itself that was unplowed and preventing the carrier from delivering. Clearly when the receptacle can't be reached, it's impossible to leave  a pickup slip.  The package was delivered the next day.

Re: Shovel Out Those Mailboxes

Yeah, I live in New England. I have snow. I am tired of winter and snow. I also am tired of seeing sellers make negative comments about buyers here every day. It's far past old.

Sellers make their money from buyers. To make negative assumptions and/or comments about them is disrespectful and rude IMHO. Buyers read these boards too. Every day I'm seeing more and more reasons why sellers are reporting fewer sales and less income.

Most people are good. If anyone, buyer or seller disagrees with that, they have no business on Ebay.

Yep. True nature has a way of showing through.

Denis Leary pretty much covered it in his 1993 song grin

Re: Shovel Out Those Mailboxes

Thanks for posting this. I forgot that snow exists and was wondering why a couple of packages hadn't been shipped to me. Here it's going to be close to 80 today with no humidity. South Florida weather this time of year can be horrible. The other day it was 48 in the morning, everyone had to put on their heavy jackets.
