I can see that some mobile buyers don't read the description or look at the pictures in the description.
They just buy the item on the title & the 1st picture they see. . .

Obviously having problems again - huh Z. Join the crowd - I have a return coming for fit - it's too big. Too bad the buyer never bothered to read not only the manufacturer's size chart but the actual measurements I included.
As much as I hate returns - 35% or more of my sales are done mobile so I'm in no rush to block them! Best to you!

Hi Z,
I'd like to tweak your post title:
Sellers Should be able to Dis ENABLE Mobile Buyers from Buying
Like that so much better...By the way...How'd your Aunt like the lamp?

She Loves It, and she also loves the candles!
Are you going to make another one like it?
I have more relatives in Texas. . .

How do you know the percentage of mobile buyers versus desktop? Is this something seen in the new seller hub?

Even if it were possible to turn back time and limit the use of today's technology, the old adage of "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink" would still apply. Even those with full size desktop computers don't always read listing completely and there is no way to force them to do so.
Of course, even reading the complete listing isn't a guarantee that they will comprehend what they have read.

There was a news story today, well over 50% only have a cell phone.
30% have a land line, and they are old folks.

Dave, I would be willing to bet that my customers are flipped.
50% landline & 30% mobile
I thought there was somewhere in "my ebay" that shows how many mobile sales a seller has.
I'll have to look around. . .

buy the item on the title & the 1st picture they see. . .
I read that as meaning that sellers should review their listings to see exactly what the title and picture are telling those millennial impulse buyers.
Also Free Shipping wherever possible, because the mobile shopper panics when the price 'changes' to include shipping.
Get it right up there at the beginning.
DON'T PANIC!
Free Shipping just means we add our cost of shipping and packaging to our asking price.
Which is cheaper?
$10 item with $5 shipping?
$15 item with Free Shipping?

According to my last "helpful" email from eBay, I was at 45% mobile in Q1 (Jan-Mar 2017).
I certainly don't want to block (almost) half my sales 😞
