I ran into the failed refund due to PayPal taking un-refundable fees out and leaving a low balance and not enough to refund the amount that came in. No problem - I loaded funds into the PP account and waited until they became available - THEN refunded.
Today, 5 days later I get a message from Ebay saying - Refund failed for this order - You approved a refund request, but there was a problem issuing a refund from your payment account to the buyer. Please contact your payment provider, so they can help resolve the problem quickly.
**bleep**? Is Ebay a week late or just clueless as to the refund that's been issued? Short of submitting myself to a tortuous phone call - how do I make them acknowledge the refund? Should I just wait and see if it get's seen eventually? I want to be diligent and responsible but it's just not allowing me to.
