Hi.
I am not able to calculate the profit margins to be able to put a proper percentage on Printify. I know the information is there, but I don't know how to analyze it properly. So in Printify I raise the percentage a lot, and therefore I hardly have any sales. I'm talking mostly about t-shirts, but it happens to me with any product.
Any ideas?
Thank you.

Ebay fees are very transparent and not at all hard to understand.

Printify is a drop shipper.
Your cost of shipping, that should come from Printify.
Your selling fees on Ebay are seen on your Order form for a transaction or you can see them on your Seller Hub.

The cost you pay for the product should also come from Printify. What is it that you feel you are missing?

This may help,
1. Know your costs:
- Printify's base cost (the cost of producing the item)
- Shipping costs (average cost to ship the item)
- Your desired profit margin (as a percentage)
2. Calculate your total cost:
- Base cost + Shipping cost = Total cost
3. Set your selling price:
- Total cost / (1 - (Your profit margin as a decimal))
- Example: Total cost = $15, Desired profit margin = 25%
- Selling price = $15 / (1 - 0.25) = $20
4. Round and adjust:
- Round your selling price to a reasonable amount (e.g., $20.99)
- Adjust as needed to stay competitive with other sellers

You have a licensee to use those images and names?

I would consult Printify for suggestions & answers since they are the ones who make & ship the product you are selling.
Buenos Suerte!

A license is not required, the permission of the drop shipping company is. I drop shipped for many years quite successfully. I did not have a license for the use of the pics, but the wholesaler I purchased from gave me permission along with using their descriptions if I desired to.

They are having their items printed.
They design the items, then other companies print and ship the items.
Yes, you can use the images from the POD company, but you can't use copyrighted and trademarked items to make your designs.

Your pricing strategy should include a contribution to your legal defense fund for when you are sued for intellectual property infringement.

Thank you very much, this is going to be useful to me, although I more or less do those calculations, the problem is Ebay's fees. When I have gone to each item sold and seen the percentages they apply, I have not been able to fully understand them.

Unfortunately, not all of us have the same capacity for understanding. Thank you for your help.

Oh that sounds more like you have convinced yourself you don't understand, so you don't. Nothing to do with can't.
Read through the policy, it isn't just a bunch of words, there are schedules in the policy that easily spell out the fees for various categories. Just relax and take your time with it, you will likely be fine if you just open your mind and relax.
