Power Seller Requirements

Hi everybody..

What are the requirements to be a Power Seller?

it is not mentioned clearly in the account like Top Rated Seller

Specially in Global Region, i have more than 100 transactions & about $5k sales & all is perfect regarding service metrics but still saying me: "You are not a power seller - yet, keep selling"!!!

I would appreciate any help

Thanks in advance

When you become a Top Rated Seller it also makes you a Power Seller.

There are no separate requirements.

Seller levels and performance standards.

Neither of these statements is correct.

The requirements for Powerseller are separate and listed here:

https://pages.ebay.com/eg/en-us/services/buyandsell/powerseller/criteria.html

The various levels of Powerseller (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Titanium) require a minimum sales volume per month as shown in the chart.

However, it is rumored that eBay is phasing out the PowerSeller program  which is probably why the requirements cannot be found by searching "Help & Contact" anymore.

Are you sure that chart is still accurate? It's from 2009 and it reflects that era's obsession with DSR scores.

No it doesn't and yes there are.

Top rated requires 100 sales in last 12 months and $1000 min total for those sales.

Bronze Powerseller requires 100 sales and $3000. (domestic) There appears to be no Global sales based Bronze PS level.

Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Titanium PS levels require increasingly large sales volumes, and also have additional advanced requirements.

ie: Silver PS has the same basic requirement of 100 sales/$3000 AND a min of $36,000 or 3600 transactions globally.

All PS levels require 98% feedback minimum.

Re: Power Seller Requirements

That chart is no longer accurate.

The only documentation I can find any longer is in the PS dashboard itself that I linked above.

Re: Power Seller Requirements

The PS dash no longer works, at least for me it doesn't. (and yes, I'm a PS, believe it or not)

The only benefit to being a PS is the seven delay in feedback. Other than that, nothing, at least not for  bronze powersellers.

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.

No, that is not correct ... just because a Seller becomes Top Rated does NOT mean they are a Power Seller.  The lowest Power Seller Level is 100 US transactions and $ 3,000 in US sales in the last 12 consecutive months ... that's the last info I had on it (Bronze level).  The TRS dollar threshold is only $ 1000.  Personally, I think the dollar amount for the first level of Power Seller status should be at least $10,000 to make it more meaningful.

No, I was not sure and it clearly is out of date. That is one of the the frustrating parts about eBay, they do not clean up stale pages on their site.

Berserkerplanet found a more up-to-date page, but as noted in that post you must be a seller to see it:
