When I have an item ready to sell and the description is complete, I take an image of the item on my camera , how do I get the item to "photobucket" ? where does this app come into play? there is nothing that tells me how to upload my image to this app?   it simply cannot suddenly appear from nowhere?   There is nothing in the directions anywhere that tells me how?  Someone must no as there are thousands of sellers using the app.  Any help would be appreciated, bubba

It seems you've decided to continue to use a photo-host and you were given advice already about using Photobucket, including links to Photobucket's help pages, so what at that site or in the replies below, remains unclear to you:

I take an image of the item that I am selling and put the chip in my computer and nothing happens. The image usually uploads and all is well, what has changed, is it all about $$$$'s ?   bubba

Error in my first post.  Repeated links to previous thread.  Second link should have been:

@bubbapeaandme8178

I'm sorry.  I gave you all the help I could by giving you the link to Photobucket in a previous thread, since that seems the logical place to go if you have problems / questions about using Photobucket.

I have never used it myself.  I have not used any photo-hosting service since it became unnecessary to do so to list on eBay or to add images to these forum replies;  so, not for many years.

If no one else in any of the previous threads gave you useful answers, and you can't get help from Photobucket, I have no idea where you turn to next.

   Am I missing something basic here?

   I'm wondering why you need a third party image hosting service to begin with. I've looked at some of your listings, and all I see is eBay's thumbnail photo in the upper left.

   The only time you need an image hosting service is if you are embedding photos or motion into your actual listing description, where a link using https/www. (etc) is required by eBay in order to embed it.

   Organize and store your photos on your computer after transferring them from your phone or camera. Then they can be directly transferred from your desktop or laptop up to the photos section when you list your item. The expense of a third party image hosting service can then be avoided.

    I have around 10,000 photos stored on my laptop (and backed up daily with Carbonite). I only use a third party image hosting service when I have the need to embed photos into my actual item description.

   Let me know if I'm missing something here...

   ... BTW, I dropped Photobucket years ago when they started charging exorbitant fees for storage. I then went back to Imageshack.com for only around $40 a year.

Cheers, Duffy

Would you like someone to talk you through attaching a photo to your listing directly, instead of using photobucket?
