When an item of mine sells, I don’t receive notification.   The only way that I know that something has sold is if I just happen to login to Ebay or the buyer sends me an email.

It seems like most sellers here, both large and small time, keep track of any listings they have by checking at least once a day or every other day.

I get an email from eBay. Check your settings to be sure you do not have this turned off. And check to see if you are using an email address that you check every day.

NEVER count on an email/notification for information about your account.  Email can/do go astray.......  If you're going to sell here.........you need to check Seller Hub EVERY day.....even if you have no listings up at the time........as there can be returns/messages, etc.

It is a somewhat common glitch for sales not to show up as an email notification as well.  It usually gets resolved in a day or two.  Check your settings and always check your sold page as well.  I check my sold page but will use my dedicated email account to manage the sales as I have a small number of options to mark the sale, such as being read and being starred.  I keep the sale notification unread until I ship the item.  I use the star for any instance out of the ordinary such as waiting for a payment after accepting an offer.

I had received an email from EBay when the buyer sent me an email… waiting on me to ship.

Well, that won't do. You have a handling time. Late shipping is not something you want to do. 

There are suggestions here. You simply have to think of this as a business even if  you have very few listings. 

If you have the time to find community and create a post about not getting notifications, you have time to check your seller's hub.---------------------

You still need to check your settings for notifications and make sure you have checked those you want to receive. Just do it.

Luckily, i get e-mails from e-bay. I also check my listings daily to make sure I can ship as fast as possible.

Today though I screwed up. Someone asked a question regarding one of my items and I accidently deleted the question thinking it was for a different item and had already answered. 

Hopping beyond hope the person who asked the questions reads through these pages and will re-ask.

So? What would that have to do with your responsibility to check your listings etc?

Are you even reading the suggestions given here that you can at least look at to see if you can fix the notification problem you are having.

Don't rely on emails. Log into eBay on a regular basis.

Do you ever check your eBay Overview page box titled ORDERS??

 

As others  have  suggested check your  seller preferences and revise if necessary.  This link should have helped

My email  address hasn’t changed.  I get emails when the buyer messages me and other emails from EBay, just not when item is sold.

If it's any consolation, I don't see that you've sold anything since January 17th.
