Used to get an email from Paypal "You've got cash" but now that ebay is no longer with Paypal, I'm not receiving any notifications. Found out I sold a coat four days after I sold it cause ebay deposited the $'s into my checking account and sent notification about the deposit. Checked my sold items manually on ebay and saw that I made a sale. This is not good. I've called ebay and they set up a ticket because they state it is a technical issue on their end. Don't want to have to keep going into ebay everyday to check my seller account. Would prefer to be notified when items sell. Is anyone else having this problem?

Might want to go into your sellers account and check site preferences to make sure you have notifications turned on
Maybe also install the eBay app onto your phone as it will also let you know of sales and when customers have questions.

Thank you. Called ebay two times and they put in a ticket about my problem. You on the other hand advised me to check my site preferences and sure enough, the "sold an item" notification was not turned on to email me.
Switched it and hopefully I will now get notifications. Thank you Coastaltechsolutions!

Where? where in my seller account is Preferences and Notifications?
Looking everywhere and not seeing it.
Have not received a sold notice by email on ebay in at least 2 years. I relied on paypal notifications, now that's gone. I just stumbled onto a sold item in My ebay by accident.
I asked for support help by phone and it keeps saying someone will call in 1 minute. Its been over an hour. Nothing. Yes its the right phone number. Yes the ringer is on.

I found Preference. There is no Notifications category.

I'm having the same problem. There is no "item sold" to check under seller communication preferences. Anyone have any insight?

Same issue here! I used to get notified when something sold, but it seems somehow that changed. Now unless I keep logging in, which is not practical for occasional sellers, I don't find out.

I have had this problem but it has been sporadic and I cannot pin down the cause of the problem. I will sell 4 items and get email notifications on 3 out of the 4. I have made it a habit to simply check my hub a couple of times a day.

Having same issue and only hear about when buyer writes me "where is my item"? This is very frustrating as I always used to get an email.

Raising my hand on this one!
I, too, realized I had sold something several days after the fact now that I am on MP. Totally by accident and luckily the customer was okay…. but of course I took the late shipping ding.
I’m coincidentally ramping up to sell more actively literally as of 5 minutes ago, so I’ll be in my account more often.
But what are super occasional or casual sellers supposed to do?

sellers shoud just set the ebay home page to seller hub
seller hub tells you when to ship.its the first thing I look at when I get up in the morning

But, that doesn’t help the occasional seller.
I left my last dozen items up when I went inactive several years ago. Never missed a sale/shipping on time as things sold in an absolute trickle…. until 2 weeks ago, right after I was pulled into Managed Payments.
There is simply no notification.
It isn’t logical to expect the occasional seller to sign in daily.
Ebay makes more and more money - taking over payments, promoted items if you want decent search placement….
They can by-golly-gosh notify a seller when paid.
